There are no words to express how much fun New York Fashion Week is. The people, the places, the energy and the lack of sleep create the perfect fashion storm. The September shows were beautiful, colourful and creative. The hair – created by TRESemmé was wearable but on trend, just as it should be. And the people? After seeing Bill Cunningham ride his bike through Soho and Lady Gaga enter a show I’d say there were more than a little bit fabulous.
Sometimes I have to wonder how on earth I ended up with the best job in the world.
Every year we celebrate Christmas, in July. It’s become a beauty land tradition and a much sought after invitation. Not only do we enjoy a yuletide feast and share presents from under the Christmas tree, we offer the media treatments using the latest products and newest innovations from PZ Cussons Beauty brands – St.Tropez Tan, Sanctuary Spa and Fudge Hair. This years event saw the media enjoy Sanctuary Spa facials with Jocelyn Petroni and blow-dries with Fudge Creative Director, John Vial who joined us from the UK.
It was the launch of the season and the culmination of over six months work. From shooting the campaign visual in New York with some of the most talented people in the industry to hosting a media event, private dinner and a day jam-packed with media interviews with our new faces: Bambi Northwood-Blyth, Erin Heatherton and Zippora Seven. It was a whirlwind – of the very best kind.
